Under Armour | Mobile App
Problem: Curry Brand Under Armour products are difficult to find and shop from with the UA Shop App. They are not currently merchandised in a way that brings out Stephen’s personality, joy, and humor that appeals to Under Armour’s new target consumer: 16-20-year-old Varsity athletes.
Roles + Responsibilities: This project took place during Under Armour’s annual Hackathon, geared towards OMNI Channel & E-commerce work. The design, presentation & work was all done within 2.5 days.
I served as one of two Product Designers on the team. In my roll specifically, as Senior Product Designer, I worked with a Junior Product Designer to lead the design direction, create a solution we would solve within 48 hours & build out a branded presentation storytelling our problem, work & solution.
Within the UX/UI work specifically, I worked with the other Junior Product Designer to research, ideate, and work with product & developers to not only design but build out working prototypes for both iOS & Android.

Ford Motor Company | Mobile App
Problem: Within Ford Motor Company, there is an Autonomous Vehicle Department that has a testing “Sandbox” of vehicles, used to test and implement features and capabilities for the AV line. In this Sandbox, our team is specifically focused on the rider experience, as well as the vehicle itself.
For this project, the goal was to design and create a component library for the native mobile app (iOS), reflecting the IRX Design Systems, which is used for the in-vehicle tablet UI.
This was also an opportunity to improve the user experience of this app, using the most common Transportation Network Company (TNC) apps as a baseline.
Roles + Responsibilities: As the Senior Visual Product Designer, I led the design process and worked collaboratively with another Product Designer to build a uniform component library and system for iOS. I led & conducted research to determine areas our experience was lacking, as well as examined visual design elements from the original design system that needed to be reflected in the iOS Design Library.
As the Senior Product Designer, my work was specifically conducted in Miro & Figma.

Ford Motor Company x Yahoo | Tablet App (In-Ride Experience)
Problem: Create an app for Miami Sandbox DXP — using sponsored content provided by the Yahoo Sports team. By doing so, the secondary goal was to create a template for video content & app.
Roles + Responsibilities: As the sole designer on this project, I led the design process and worked with the Project Managers & Yahoo Sports team to create a new templated in-ride experience that promotes and showcases Yahoo Video content. All design work was built from the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) design system. The designs were created in Figma and handed off to developers to make this a working app within Miami Ride Share for riders to experience & enjoy.

EMOTIONAL RESPONSE DISPLAY
T3, Head and the Heart
Problem: During SXSW 2019, T3 celebrated our 30th birthday. T3 hosted a private event, featuring The Head and the Heart at the Historic Scoot Inn. The challenge was to create an experience that measured and displayed emotional response to the show and to create a unique visual experience for all concert-goers.
We built a custom Emotional Response Display System consisting of a live stream of biometric data into a visual media system. Powered by the brain waves and heartbeats of the attendees, we created a dynamic and memorable light show for the +700 guests.
Roles + Responsibilities: As the Art Director, I worked with Sean Leonard (Associate Creative Director) to build the visual system and branding for the event, we worked with T3 Labs to build the technology that enabled us to display the live stream data, along with working with the marketing team to help plan, and execute the entire event. Creating take-home pieces for concert-goers using the data captured to create 3D printed keepsakes for each person.

Syncing steps for Glooko Kiosk created during my User Experience/User Interface and Marketing Internship at Glooko, from June 2016—August 2017. Creating a new instructional page(s) to sync a glucose meter to Glooko with the Kiosk and Mobile app.
Kiosk is used in the physician office where Physician Assistants are responsible for syncing patients meters to Glooko. There was a need for a fast, consistent way to sync each device that could be used cross platform (kiosk and mobile iOS and Android). Through user testing with P.A.'s along with collaboration of our office physician, product managers and design team I created new screens for Kiosk and Mobile which are in use today.
Glooko is the Unified Platform for Diabetes Management and provides an FDA-cleared, HIPAA-compliant Web and Mobile application for diabetes patients and clinicians which improves outcomes and lowers costs.
Problem: Redesign the syncing process of glucose meters with Glooko for mobile and kiosk. Create a fast and seamless way for both Consumers and Physician Assistants to find the specific meter. Maintain consistency in language and visual style throughout all steps throughout each meter.
Roles + Responsibilities: I worked closely with Glooko's onsite doctor, Project Managers, the QA team, Developers, and both Marketing, and Design Teams. I went through each glucose meter to create a consistent language for each step. I then worked with the design team to ensure the design followed the new mobile app guidelines. I created wireframes and performed user testing with a variety of Physician Assistants, and random individuals, to make sure it took as little time as possible to sync up the select meter with Glooko.

Along with this I worked side by side with our developer to create assets and organize the flow of the app. I designed all of the user interface for the mobile screens, handed off the assets, and made sure the final app was developed correctly.
Teammates include: Habib Placencia (designer), Jun Trinh (developer), Kelli Chollar (designer), Levi Adissi (business), Roshan Prabhakar (developer), Sheila Ahi (designer), and Shek Kundu (business).

Sol is a wearable device that senses the amount of UVA and UVB rays that come in contact with the user’s skin. The application calculates this data for the user and notifies the user of the amount and intensity of sunlight their skin receives, how long the user has been exposed to the sunlight, and the appropriate time to either reapply sunscreen or change locations.
The main purpose of this wearable is to help individuals prevent skin cancer and aging by providing real-time information.
Problem: Athletes are constantly getting burnt on the field, causing a higher rate of skin cancer and other health problems. Athletes want a way to stay in tune with their health, and sun exposure while out on the field without getting distracted from practice, games, etc.
Roles + Responsibilities: I worked side by side throughout this whole project with my peer, Carrie Beyer. While the idea of Sol was initially my idea, we collaborated extensively throughout the complete design process. This included creating a persona, performing market research, developing the brand, creating wireframes, conducting user testing, and creating a promotional poster for our product.
